DEEP TRACTOR RUTS/DRAINAGE WORKS
Deep tractor ruts AND RECENT DRAINAGE CHANNELS are deemed ground under repair, even if not so marked. Relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 25-1
HOLES MADE BY BIRDS
Holes made by birds should be treated as abnormal ground conditions. Relief may be taken in accordance with Rule 25-1
“Through the green”, a ball which comes to rest in or on an aeration hole may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped, as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole. The ball when dropped must first strike a part of the course through the green.
On the putting green, the player shall place the ball at the nearest spot not nearer the hole which avoids such situation.
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE:
Match Play – Loss of hole; Stroke Play – Two strokes
NOTE: ‘Through the Green’
Through the green is the whole area of the course except:
a) The teeing ground and putting green of the hole being played.
b) All hazards on the course.
For all competition play at this course, a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g. gradient, wind speed etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
In the event of a dispute the referee can be contacted after the round has completed.
This competition requires that fees be paid to complete entry. If the payment process is not completed, your entry may be removed.
